A Saturday WIN!!!!
The 3.5 team managed to pull off a win Saturday against Ruth Mabry's team. We had to deal with the new timed match rules. Because #2 doubles did NOT finish their tie-break, BOTH teams were awarded a win for that court. This caused a 3-3 tie. To break the tie, it came down to least sets lost overall and we won that way.... interesting......

There will be NO 3.5/3.75 practice this weekend (the 13th & 14th) due to our 3.5 match at 1:00 on Saturday, February 13th and Valentine's Day being Sunday. Come watch with me if you can!!
**Hopefully, the Pine Bluff team can make it even though they experienced some snow last night**
I am going to the last captain's meeting that they are providing for this team season in the morning (Sat.) at 9:30 a.m. I will send updates after that meeting if I learn anything new, interesting, exciting, etc. I was coming home from Hot Springs when the last captain's meeting was conducted.

Getting Organized
Yesterday and today was spent dealing with Sharon @ LRAC regarding our requested court times. There were several dates that we did not get ANY times at all and several other dates that we DID get a time - just none that we requested. So....I have been in the process of updating the schedules.
We also, unfortunately, lost a team member. Kim Smalling is not going to play with us this season due to work/traveling requirements, her boys needing her and her shoulder is acting up again. She has been replaced by Meritt's cousin Robin Frazier. Welcome, Robin!!!
Also, Kim Moros is getting to come home from Miami where she has been working for the military in their Haiti relief efforts.
